Documenting the Canada that gets overlooked
scoopixfy.com began as a personal project to walk the streets that rarely appear in tourism brochures — the back alleys, rooming houses, industrial corridors, and public housing blocks that make up so much of daily Canadian life.
What started as a handful of photographs has grown into a long-form documentary practice combining photography, oral history, and architectural research. Every story is built slowly, in person, over weeks or months of return visits.
